Public hearing on Cinema and European identities
The Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament and the LUX Prize are organizing a public hearing on 27 October to look into Cinema and European identities.
Wim Wenders, the renowned German film director and President of the European Film Academy will be one of the keynote speakers.
He has championed European cinema believing that it can help a new generation of Europeans to define what Europe is about and represent this image to the world. In short, help create a European consciousness that can dream a European dream.
