Arta Dobroshi is one of the ten participants of the 2013 Shooting Stars at the Berlin International Film Festival. The Shooting Stars is an initiative that puts a spotlight on the best young European actress and actors each year.

The Kosovar actress was revealed to the international scene with the title role in the Dardenne brothers' film The Silence of Lorna which won the 2008 LUX Prize. She played a young Albanian living in Belgium and caught in an evil plan set up by a mobster.

Her last film is Three Worlds directed by Catherine Corsini, the story of three completely different universes brought together by a tragedy. Her performance attracted the 2013 Shooting Stars' Jury who commented: “In Three Worlds, this actress displays a wealth of warmth and humanity. Her sensitivity and smartness literally take over the big screen the minute she appears. An over whelming performance”.
