LUX Film Days

Launched in 2012, the LUX FILM DAYS project aims to bring the screenings of the finalists of the LUX FILM PRIZE Official Competition closer to European citizens across all 28 countries of the European Union (EU) in the same period (Autumn).

Subtitled in the 24 official languages of the EU, the films of the LUX FILM PRIZE Official Competition - are travelling together, visiting more than 40 cities of the 28 European Member States. In many cases the screenings take place in cooperation with film festivals (to name a few -Viennale, Stockholm Film Festival, Thessaloniki Film Festival, Black Night Film Festival, Sevilla Film Festival), cinematheque or theatres. For most countries, the screenings are also national premieres.
